Sealing rings / Guide bands
Mainly used for “oil-free” compressors and sectors in which it is necessary to produce “clean” compressed air without lubrication.
The rings and the guide bands are used to maintain perfect coaxiality between stem and cylinder, avoiding problems during linear movements or piston rotation. Usually mounted on tailored seats, they can be manufactured according to customer designs using the most common materials for these products, chosen subject to the kind of lubricants eventually used and other application data.
FF.GI Srl can also offer technical advice based on the compressor type or the chamber material/coating. Guide bands can be manufactured from both tubes and tape. The sealing rings are made with a special machine that can cut everything in one procedure, granting maximum quality, precision, and finishing accuracy. The cut can also be made according to customer requirements.
