These kinds of ball valve seats are used in cases of extreme temperature and pressure.
They are made from a metallic seat and a polymer internal part with the function of sealing the sphere.
The material for the internal part is chosen according to the application of the ball valve itself (average temperature, temperature range, maximum pressure, number of daily open/close cycles, etc…).
