Kammprofile gaskets

Kammprofile gaskets are used when traditional spiral wound or metal sheet gaskets can cause sealing problems. They offer high performance even with a low sealing rate.
They are made from a metallic core selected according to the material of the pipes, with concentric grooves and layers of flexible sealing material on the surface, which vary according to the temperature and the type of fluid/gas.
Kammprofile gaskets are made from different materials and in different shapes (they are not always circular), and can be customized to each application.

TYPES:

FFcam1

Kammprofile gasket without centring rings used on interlocking flange.

Mostly applied on heat interchange machines in substitution of the metal sheeting gaskets.

The ENVELOPE version is used when we need to seal on ceramic or glass coated flanges with high pressure.

FFcam2

Kammprofile gasket with a ring useful for centring and alignment in RF flanges.

The gasket is designed and dimensioned according to EN12560-6 and ASME B16.5 flange regulations but can be tailored and designed according to the customer’s requirements.

The ENVELOPE version is used when we need to seal on ceramic or glass coated flanges with high pressure.

FFcam3

Kammprofile with floating centring ring.

This solution avoids plant vibrations being transmitted to the gasket, ensuring the equipment remains unaffected.

The ENVELOPE version is used when we need to seal on ceramic or glass coated flanges with high pressure.
