FF.GI offers a full range of fittings gaskets “cam-lock” type; different kinds have been developed to fulfil the different application needs of our customers; these kinds of gaskets are used in food, chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

PTFE ENVELOPE WITH RUBBER INSERT
It's the most used gasket in chemical industry, it offers the best quality / price rate; it’s composed by a rubber insert (mostly EPDM, sometimes FKM) protected by a PTFE virgin standard grade FLON-CHEM 1000 cenvelop that complies with the FDA legislation, Food and Drug Administration, department of Health and Human Services, Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR Ch.1; USA regulations sections 177.1550 (a) (1) and (b) Perfluorocarbon Resins.This type of gasket is available in our storage ready to be shipped from DN12 (½”) al DN100 (4”)
PTFE ENVELOPE WITH “FOOD GRADE” RUBBER INSERT
Unlike the type of gasket above, this is properly studied for the food industry where not only the envelope in PTFE FLON-CHEM 1000 must be eligible for food contact but also the rubber inserts; these gaskets are available from DN12 (½”) al DN150 (6”).
The insert eligible for food contact could be white EPDM, VMQ (silicon) translucent or red, FLON-CHEM 1006 FKM black.

FLON-CHEM® CAM-LOCK
This gasket is unique and has been developed for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry; the main feature is the combination between the chemical resistance of the PTFE premium grade FLON-CHEM 1075 envelope and the high elastic return of the elastomer used on the inside. This feature solves the sealing problems of the traditional gaskets increasing its duration and the possibility to be re-used.
These are the technical alternative to FFKM gaskets, but with sensibly lower prices, in addition to that these gaskets offer a series of benefits if compared with the encapsulated gaskets FEP or PFA.

INCAPSULATED FEP/PFA SILICON
Type of gasket born to solve the rising request due to problems of sealing in the aggressive fluids industry; it’s made by two parts: a coating in FEP (Fluorine-Ethylene-Propylene) or PFA (PerfuoroAlcoxy) and the elastomer internal part in VMQ (silicon) or FLON-CHEM 1006 FKM.
